Role: Leader “Calypso Implementation” Team
- Emergency engagement to take over the leadership of the implementation team at a late stage, to secure the first production release implementing Calypso as a back office securities platform for the bank. First release covered equities on five markets.
- Analysis of the status quo of the implementation and re-prioritization of the activities to avoid a delay of the production release.
- Management of the team of ten business analysts and developers for the completion of essential functionality, bug fixing, integration testing, migration and go-live activities.
- Advisory to the project management and sponsors for the restructuring of the project and elaboration of a detailed project plan for the next releases.
Primary goal reached: First production date was upheld, despite severe difficulties, and project continued successfully.
